Featured Project: 8 1/2 Canal

8 1/2 Canal is the latest residential project for KBS and Gilbane Development.  Located in the heart of VCU on Canal Street, the project provides housing for VCU students.  KBS first came to us to provide interior ADA signs for the building, and the scope was quickly expanded to include most interior and exterior signage.  The project included interior signs with Braille, parking signs, courtyard signs, exterior brushed aluminum building signs, interior custom cut plex letters and the interior building identification sign (see picture).  Thank you to Jon Reid of KBS and Kim Badenoch of Gilbane for their trust in us and a fun project.
